NEW ITEM: Can you guess what this is?? Write to me.

Spring is in the air

Suggestions: Time to plant some of your favorite herbs and spices. GARLIC - grows well this time of the year and yields fresh garlic leaves/chives. This makes for great seasoning for vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. METHI/FENUGREEK SEEDS - this grows within 2 weeks of planting. Soak seeds overnight before planting. Harvest by pulling the plants out and cutting off the roots halfway down the stems. Wash, drain, and use. Makes great Methi Puris (p. 144), Methi Theplas (p.97) and other entrees.
